UCSD Senior Rocket Project Emulsion Test

An interesting test carried out by Flometrics and UCSD, the fuel tested is a 90% blend of RP-1 and 10% water with an emulsifier so it can mix, reminds me of PVA glue.

Water can be added to Ethanol when used as a fuel to lower the flame temp and to aid in cooling, this was notably done with the V2 but also of late Copenhagen Suborbitals have been doing this with theirBPM-5 rocket engine and in the past Unreasonable Rocket to name a few.
