FAR DPF Challenge

Friends of Amateur Rocketry (FAR) recently announced a new contest called the DPF Challenge, DPF standing for dollar per foot.

The goal is to launch a liquid-fuelled rocket as high as possible and recover it safely and intact, the prize, for every foot of altitude gained, the team will receive $1.

Only open to US and Canadian university teams, the rocket must launch from the FAR site and carry a payload. The challenge currently has no end date.
