CPP LRL Avionic Testing

Cal Poly Pomona Liquid Rocket Lab recently tested the avionics and recovery system for their Bronco launch vehicle, intend for the FAR MARS competition.

Bronco is a liquid oxygen/liquid methane rocket designed to fly to 45,000ft to capture the prize.


Cal Poly Space Systems HM-7 Hot Fire

Cal Poly Space Systems recently conducted a test of their HM-7 hybrid rocket engine.

The engine is fueled by Nitrous Oxide and Hydroxyl Terminated Polybutadiene (HTPB), and is designed to produce 400lbf of thrust for 12sec.
